 Fire Storm By Black & Decker 24 Volt FSX-Treme Battery (Misc.) I have a 24 volt trimmer and can’t do my entire 1 acre yard on one or even two batteries… got two more, and a double charger, thinking I could rotate them immediately after charging for infinite weed eating… however, I have found the batteries get hot after use … and they won’t charge when they are hot, I guess a protection mechanism… thus I can’t ‘rotate’ them as I had planned. However, I have 4 batteries charged and ready to go at all times and that suffices for my 1 acre yard with road frontage and a long driveway. Batteries have been working and holding decent charge for a couple years now… Would still purchase again.

    		 Black and Decker 18 Volt Battery Charger 5103069-12 (Misc.) I ordered an 18V Black & Decker battery charger for my cordless drill. I received a 14V charger. Oddly enough, even the order slip said 18V. Luckily the output on the charger was very similar and all I had to do was make a notch on the other side of the charger where it clips onto the batteries so that it would work. Other than that one slight mistake in sending the wrong product, it works very well.

    Black & Decker HPNB24 24-Volt Battery for NST1024 String Trimmer and NHT524 Hedge Trimmer (Lawn & Patio) For the jamokes out there that don’t know how to use battery operated tools, stick with the corded tools. These batteries were a steal! I was going to buy a whole new drill after reading the reviews but I decided to take a chance. I’ve been very happy with this 24V drill since 2007. I rehab houses and finally after 5 years of heavy use the batteries needed to be replaced. The new batteries work fine and hold a charge just like the originals. Charge it for a few hours the first time around and let it wear down. Then charge it again and you will be good to go! HAPPY SCREWING!Ramdaddi

    		 Black & Decker Fire storm 18 Volt FS18CS Cordless Circular Saw (Misc.) Being a woodworker and living in florida don’t always go together sometimes. You don’t always have all the space you want for your shop. I am relagated to one small corner of my garage and one outlet. So, the fewer power cords I have to deal with, the better. I already have a full complement of Black and Decker 18 volt tools and being able to interchange the batteries is convenient to say the least. So dispite some of the reviews I read for this saw I still went ahead a bought it. I have to say I don’t use a circular saw very often. Only when I have sheet goods that are to big and awkward to handle safely on the table saw. So I have not had an opportunity or reason to see how long the battery would last. What I do know is that the saw has plenty of power for ripping and crosscutting 3/4 sheet goods as well as dimensional lumber. As for how long you’d be able to do that on one battery…I don’t know and probably will never find out. The saw is lightweight which is probably due to the fact that it is made out of plastic. Thats right…the whole thing other than the base plate is plastic and not evan a good plastic, so don’t drop it. It does seem a little fragile to say the least. The base plate is not steel. It is made of aluminum. This is why I did not give this saw 5 stars. However, don’t let that fool you into thinking this saw can’t handle your cutting applications. As other reviews have stated the safety switch is a bit awkward to flip and then depress the trigger to start the saw. If your not used to it, you might find it a little cumbersome, but I have another tool that has the exact same switch layout as this saw so I didn’t find it to be a problem, as I was already used to it. I will caution you, do not compare this saw to a corded one. I still intend to keep my 13 amp corded circular saw just for that rare instance, that may or may not come, when I need to cut through stacks and stacks of sheet goods.***update***I forgot to mention also with this saw if your going to use it with a straight edge cutting guide, shop built or otherwise, the clearance on the side of the motor housing is only about 1/8′. I had to make a new cutting guide out of 1/8′ thick hardboard because this saw would not clear my 1/4′ thick cutting guide.
